The Purcell School Of Music
The morning consists of a talk about the amazing work of the Purcell School; this is followed by tea and then a short concert given by some of the students.
The Purcell is a vibrant place where creativity and discipline go hand in hand, providing specialist training for musicians of the future, alongside an excellent general education.
Famous names associated with the school are Vladimir Ashkenazy, who is the Patron, Sir Simon Rattle, the honorary president, and Prince Charles, who himself played the cello!
