the foundling museum
The Museum tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, Britain’s first home for children at risk of abandonment. The building is not the original Foundling Hospital, but an elegant 1930’s building with original 18th Century artefacts.
The Foundling Hospital Collection includes works of art by some of Britain’s most prominent eighteenth-century artists such as Hogarth, Gainsborough, Joshua.
