Your Outing on Tuesday 24th September 2019 The Bank Of England

Our visit includes “Past & Present”, an introduction to the Bank of England, a look around the Museum and entrance to the special Sir John Soane Exhibition.

This hour-long audio-visual presentation, which is specially arranged for groups, gives a brief history of the Bank of England since it was founded in 1694 and describes its main role and functions today. Afterwards, you will have the chance to ask questions.

Following the presentation, you will be able to look around the Museum…maybe feel the weight of a gold bar or see coinage through the ages. We are fortunate that in September there will be an Exhibition about Sir John Soane, the great British architect, who designed this building.

This outing is free, but there are only 35 places available!!

BOOKING: Will take place on Thursday, 20th JUNE, in ROOM 3,Hartley Hall, from 1.00 to 1.50 only.
Please bring your membership card and your completed envelope.
