Play Reading

Our existing Play Reading group has proved so popular that it is now full. We are hoping to start a friendly new group for u3a members — and we would love to hear from anyone who might like to help get it going.

The group would bring people together to enjoy reading plays aloud in a relaxed and informal setting. There is no need to be an actor, and there is no pressure to perform — just an interest in plays, characters, stories, and good company.

Members could explore a wide range of plays, from classics to contemporary works, sharing parts and enjoying the language, humour, drama, and ideas together.

It would be a welcoming space for anyone who enjoys reading, theatre, discussion, or simply trying something a little different with others.
