The first autumn meeting promises to be a riveting insight into events which happened in 17th Century England. Dr Robin Gain, a historian, will give a talk on the famous diarist, Samuel Pepys, when England was undergoing many changes. The talk is entitled Samuel Pepys Returned. He describes the time before Pepys wrote the diary, the diary years and the years after he stopped keeping his diary. Don’t miss this interesting talk!
