This is an appreciation and understanding group, not an Interior Design Course.

Each meeting covers various elements involved with the processes involved in Interior Design. Topics cover Colour; Paint; Specialist Paint; Wall Coverings; Design Styles; Design through the Eras; Fabric; Accessorising; Styling; Room & Space Planning; Flooring; Soft Furnishings; Hard Furnishing; Presentations; Lighting; Mood Boards.

Cheryl provides samples, photographs, physical design drawings and illustrations to support each discussion.

The meetings are interspaced with Design Outings which have included a visit to London’s Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour.

Further planned Design outings will include:

• Design related Galleries and Museums to illustrate the breadth of inspiration found in fashion, art and product.
• Interior Design Schools
• Visit to Clerkenwell, London’s hub for design and architectural showrooms and practices.
• Visits to High end brand showrooms
• Visits to Stone and Wood floor companies
