Based in a former Lambeth Workhouse, where Charlie Chaplain went as a child, London’s Cinema Museum is devoted to keeping alive the spirit of cinema from the days before the multiplex. It gives an insight into how much things have changed in the industry.
Set in historic surroundings, close to The Elephant and Castle, the Cinema Museum houses an unique collection of artifacts, memorabilia and equipment which preserves the history and grandeur of cinema from the 1890’s to the present day.
Tours last 90 minutes and include a refreshment break – coffee or tea and biscuits + half an hour of short films.

Open between 1.00 and 1.50 only.
Cost: is £7.50 per person, payable by cheque only, made out to: “The Outings Group”. Max 2 tickets per person.
